Services

HouseAlpha One can provide technical assistance for design professionals, builders, developers, code enforcement officials, business owners and the general public to make facilities and private homes accessible to all people. Guidance is provided to remove barriers from both existing buildings and those in the planning stages to implement the Americans with Disabilities Act and Maine State access regulations.

Members of an Alpha One Access team can provide a comprehensive evaluation of employment related worksites, including workstation evaluations to insure that employees are provided an ergonomically sound environments. Workplace modifications to accommodate differing abilities, as well as workplace strategies can be developed in cooperation with employers.

Technical Assistance

Alpha One provides technical assistance to design professionals, local municipalities, school districts, state government, landlords, the business community, and consumers on barrier removal strategies for making facilities accessible to and usable by all people. With our expertise, we can not only help with the removal of architectural and communication barriers in existing facilities or programs, but help avoiding these barriers in new projects in the planning stages. Training

Accessible Surveys

We provide assistance to employers and employees on workplace accommodations. Services include:
